Because I eat mostly whole foods but supplement with protein shakes and protein snacks just isn't as catchy...

Sip in Style

I covet reusable straws. Especially, giant oversized boba tea straws that I can use for giant, oversized shakes!

Fortunately, The Kitchn is watching my back.

Here’s their hot-off-the-press list of cool, plastic-free straws:

1 Stainless Steel Straws, set of 4, $12.99 at After 5
2
Reusable Bamboo Party Straws, set of 12, $16.95 at Global Exchange
3
GlassDharma Straw - Bendie, $8.95-9.95 at Greenfeet (with a lifetime guarantee!)
4
GlassDharma Straw - Dots, $8.95-9.95 at Greenfeet (with a lifetime guarantee!)
5
Stainless Steel Spoon-Straw, $1.95 at Crate and Barrel

Need a skinny brush to clean those straws? Here's one for $4.95 at Greenfeet.

  4. How cool!! I love straws, but I heard that they can exacerbate gas problems...aka, they can make you fart :-)

  5. Bahah- Carbzilla called you a strawnoisseur! hee!

I am madly in love with these huge wide plastic straws (that's the only downside)- but they are big enough to get a peanut through. They were a gift from someone I'm no longer in contact with so I would have no idea how to replace them! :-(
